IBM established and Internet2
program in an effort to create synergy between
the firm and the 700 member universities of the
ICAIR organization centered in Northwestern University.
This
poster was used on campuses and in conference
situations to create interest in the program and
the proprietary instant messaging protocol, Instant2,
that IBM is providing to member schools.
The composite image was constructed in Photoshop
from personal photographs and 17th Century skymaps.
